My journey with technology started long before my career officially did. I grew up in Istanbul, Turkey, and although I studied Mechanical Engineering, I always knew my real curiosity was elsewhere—computers and technology fascinated me far more than machines ever could. After graduation, I decided to follow that passion and reshape my career path.
In 2005, I earned a master’s degree in Information Technologies at Sabancı University. Those years were not just about studying—I also freelanced, building web-based applications for universities and discovering how rewarding it felt to create useful digital tools. Later on, I continued to grow my knowledge, and in 2021 I completed another milestone: a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems.
Over the past 20+ years, I’ve worked as a Sales Manager, Project Manager, and Product Manager. These roles allowed me to combine technology with business, and that’s where I truly found my place.
Today, I live in Istanbul with my wife and our two daughters. On webjou.com, I share my experiences along with practical thoughts on technology and productivity—things I’ve learned (and keep learning) along the way.
